Update 8 at a Glance
Evolution Studio Games released Update 8 as Final Swarm most ambitious content drop yet, launching August 29, 2026. The Roblox experience title now displays Final Swarm [Raids ⚔️], replacing the previous [Skills⭐] banner. Raid Mode — Boss Encounters

Armor Grading System
Armor Grading lets you permanently upgrade Armor, Amulets, and Rings using Crystals earned from Raids. It provides extra Health and stats across nine tiers: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythical, Transcendent, Celestial, and Ω (Omega). The Ω tier is the rarest grade currently in the game.
To access Armor Grading, unlock it in the Skill Tree for 750 Keys. Once unlocked, select any Armor, Amulet, or Ring piece in your inventory and spend Crystals to move it up a tier. Grades are permanent and stack with Skill Tree nodes and Chest stat buffs.

Three New Weapons: Flame Walker, Laser Beam, Tornado
Update 8 adds three permanent Key unlocks to the weapon shop, each filling a distinct combat role in both wave survival and Raid encounters. Update 8 and the Current Meta

The R41D5 code released alongside Update 8 on August 31, 2026, granting five Raid Chests. These Chests are separate from the standard loot pool — they contain gear upgrades, Crystal fragments, and high-tier stat rolls for Armor, Amulets, and Rings.
Raid Chests are the fastest way to sample the Armor Grading economy before committing to full Raid grinds. Open them after unlocking the grading node in the Skill Tree so stat packages are available during your first boss attempt.
Preparing for Update 8
Budget 750 Keys for the Armor Grading Skill Tree unlock alongside any weapon plans. If you are still working through Update 7 weapons (Shotgun, Poison Flask, Trident), those remain strong purchases — Update 8 weapons are additive, not replacements.
