Chests: Run Power and Stat Randomization
Chests open into stat modifiers that boost the current run — damage, speed, health, pickup radius, ability tweaks, and more depending on rarity. Wooden Chests from firstswarm suit day-one players; Epic Chests from nocheaters and H4MM3RT1M3 belong on planned difficulty spikes.
Chest RNG means two players with identical weapons can feel different power until stats converge over many openings. Timing openings around hard content reduces wasted rolls.

Wooden: introductory stats, three from firstswarm code. Common: baseline upgrades from frosty and starter waves. Rare: strong mid-tier modifiers from Jungle farming. Higher rarity does not guarantee perfect synergy — always align openings with intended world and weapon archetype.

Keys vs Chests: Spending Priority
If you die before wave ten, open Chests for stats before buying more weapons. If you survive comfortably but lack damage, spend Keys on proven weapon unlocks from the tier list.
Codes that grant both — especially nocheaters — should be redeemed fully before choosing either path exclusively.
Farming More Keys and Chests
Keys scale with world tier and wave depth. Jungle beats starter farming once survival stabilizes. Chests drop from milestones and events; codes remain the fastest bulk source early.

Emergency Spending Rules

Never spend the last of your Keys without a tier-list reference — impulse unlocks are the leading cause of diluted Chest value on accounts that redeemed firstswarm and nocheaters but spread stats across incompatible weapons.
Split accounts should mirror Chest opening order on each profile so alts used for co-op testing stay comparable instead of one alt hoarding Epic items while another opens only Wooden Chests.
